March 31: Celebration for my upcoming birthday. My sister from Texas was here (and so were my mother and my other sister), so we figured we'd celebrate it then.
April 3: My birthday. Nothing special. I talked to
GiuseppeMezzofanti on Skype, and of course, he remembered it and gave me all sorts of wonderful wishes. My family members also remembered and called me.
Angela also remembered. Apart from people wishing me a happy birthday, this day did not feel like a "birthday" at all. :P
April 11: "A Taste of Turkey" - the event that the residents of the Middle East Coexistence House (including myself) were planning at the Zimmerli Art Museum. It had a great turnout.
April 22 (yesterday :P): I went to an awards ceremony. The Middle East Coexistence House was apparently nominated. We didn't win anything though, which was ok. It was a nice evening though, and the desserts were great.
Dateless Updates: I'm going to study in Berlin this summer. I'm also going to Austria as well. The way it's going to happen is:
May 13: Fly to Austria (Vienna)
May 20: Go to Berlin
June 30: Fly back to the US
YES!! My dreams have come true! I get to go to Europe again, study and speak German (and improve it),
and hang out with
Angela again! Hooray!
As for what's happening later on...
Wednesday, April 25: I have a German presentation to do. I also have to have a good rough draft of my 10-page research paper (for the course which I loathe: Shaping a Life) done by then.
Thursday, April 26: The final draft of my research paper is due.
Of course, throughout this week, I'm going to try to prepare myself for the final exams.
May 3: German exam
May 8: Physics and Italian exams
May 9: Math exam
And either on
May 9 or
May 10, I'm going to move out of my room.
Oh my God... so much is happening. No,
too much is happening! AHHH!!! ;_;
